The Super Vee B50 was one of the final designs to emerge from Bolton following the sad death of Derek Bennett. There were a handful of good results including wins in the European Super Vee Championship for Jac Nelleman at Donington in May and Kurt Thiim at Anderstorp in August. Kurt Thiim finished the season in eighth place in the Championship. Despite these few highlights the B50 was largely overwhelmed by the massed ranks of Ralt and March.
