Keith Lewcock has sent in some great pictures of a pair of B8s at Thruxton on the 10th August 1969.

Keith tells us:

"The first one is Willie Green's very quick Chevron B8-BMW.  Notice the cycling drinks bottles on the rear bulkhead - it was a two-heat race run in very hot weather - and the slightly nerfed Gp2 Ford Escort in the background.

The second one is the immaculate Chevron B8-BMW of Altrincham's favourite jeweller, John Lepp.  A log-time Chevron pedaller, a measured second place at this race was sufficient to give John and Chevron the RAC British Sports Car Championship for 1969."
